2007-08-30 Content update: Transformer
Updated the site with some unconfirmed
screenshots of Limp Ninja's "Transformer".
Thanks to necronomico for these screenshots.
He got them some time ago from a
Limp Ninja webpage that no longer seem to exist.
Welcome to this website dedicated to the demoscene and demos on the
Xbox (Classic, NOT 360). I try to present an overview on all released Xbox
demos (No, NO retail game demos!) and even help people that are interested
in the demoscene to get in touch.
What is the demoscene?
The demoscene is a computer art subculture that specializes itself on
producing demos, non-interactive audio-visual presentations, which are
run real-time on any kind of computers.
The demoscene exists on various
platforms from fast PCs to nice C=64 and Amiga machines to very strange
machines like the pokemon-mini. Also on the Xbox the demoscene is quite
active with several releases.
If you have more questions or need more
infos you can surf to the appropriate
Wikipedia-Page
or you just can mail me.
But keep in mind that
the demoscene is a legal subculture and does have nothing to do with illegal
cracker groups of the present time.
No ISO files on this website.
Sorry...
You won't find any ISO files or binaries of the demos on this
website because of legal terms. But you can find the executables
of the demos through various sources or through some P2P websites.
...but videos.
You can now find a link to a video capture of most demos through
the details page of the appropriate demo. In the overview can be
seen what demos can be viewed online.
The creator of this site
I'm called Raven/Nuance. Active
in the demoscene since 1988. First active on the C=64, then switched
to the Amiga where I founded the demogroup NUANCE in 1991 with some other
fellow sceners. Since that time I'm the mainorganizer, last active founding
member and one of the most active graphics artists of the group. At the
moment I'm creating designs and graphical content for demos on the PC,
NintendoDS/DSlite and Xbox. You can get in touch with me using the contact
email form.
